SISTER

I wish I had more of you!
I didn't have anyone as closely as like you in my hands,
though it was for only some brief days of your initial years.
You were my first live doll with whom I played, back then when I was barely ten.
People around warned me to be careful about you in my hands;
but my doll I know you felt safe without any qualms.
I remember our photo sessions together, mind you it will be my treasure forever.
May be I don't know how actually a sister-sister bond would be,
But I am happy you showed me some glimpse of it even before we both knew about it.

Life happened then, we were separated!
Because we don't share common parents but only grandparents.
Believe me on those small years, the news of you coming home was a treat,
I don't know certainly to how many, But definitely me.
Those waiting days to carry you in my hand and smell your baby savour-
was a news to boast to my friends later next day in my school chapter.
You my dear doll though small was a special character of my childhood chapter.

Life more happened then, we seeing each other drastically reduced to less than ten.
We graduated from the stage of seeing one another to only hearing news of each other.
We lived within the same city limits but limited by our parents distance.
The grim truth was distance happened not only in our dwellings but in our bonding's too.
Years passed you grew, I grew at different phase and space.
Later some days we only see in common place and barely meet to say aloha.

Life suddenly didn't happen in more, why?
One day I hear you travelled very far than where I can reach you in time near.
Why did you leave this world before? though only you came after me.
Your doll like features still haunt my eyes and thoughts, don't you know?
though we were far away we still shared the blood bond, my Sister!
The thought you not there makes me sad, but teaches me one good lesson to share.
Very few I have in my life and it is high order I share my time for them,
for God knows who is next.
To my doll- I wish I had more of you!
